My Feet are Loose

A few years ago, I was hanging out at my mommom's house with my sister and Chinese cousins and Footloose was on tv, so we watched it for a little while. The cousins were only 3 at the time, so we were able to make them do funny things to make us laugh. Like telling them to yell Zach Braff at the tv or teach them the world "canoodling." During Footloose, we taught them how to make their feet loose.  It was beautiful.  Two little 3 year olds wiggling their feet.  That was the last time I watched Footloose.

I watched it again today and was not so thrilled by it.  The other white meat was good in it, but I don't like the idea of it not being a musical. Playing "Let's Hear it for the Boy" in the background while the Willard (what a name) learns to dance does not work.  It feels awkward and forced.
That is why I was so excited for Zac to star in the remake.  It would have legit singing and famazing dancing, since Zac can totally bust a move.  But then the dreamboat dropped out!

According to sources, the movie is still in production, but whennnn will it come out? And will it even be worth it without Zac?  The answer is yes.  If Chace gets cast and can actually sing and dance. Gossip Girl is not exactly chock full o singing, so I have no idea. In the mean time, I'll just watch Hairspray again.

  1. You left out that every time the Asian babies saw Turk, they yelled Murray being that that was Turk's name in Clueless and the name of their father.
