The Blog

I have been doing this really embarrassing thing lately, where I take things that I write here and then I mention them in public.  It's bad, because then I have to say oh yeah, it's on my blog, you should totally read my blog.  Because although I want people to read it, it's horrifyingly Barney Stinson to talk about your blog in public.  

When I talk about The Blog, I make sure to put on this slightly sarcastic, self-mocking tone, so that people know that I understand the implications of writing a blog.  It's not like I'm giving people life advice.  Just advice on what movies to see and what to watch on Wednesday nights.  I am not Barney Stinson.  I do not pretend that I am 80 and try to seduce girls my age (20).  Now I have to go dry my new hair cut.
