Why am I telling you this? Mainly so I can show off my wide variety of movie tastes, because I'm always bragging about my random preferences. And Rebecca is completely different than Valley Girl. Booyah playa.
When I saw that dude on Grey's I immediately thought of you. Also, I did not know you were into Hitchcock. And The Sure Thing is one of my all-time favorite movies. Like, I've watched it more times than I can count. I find Valley Girl to be significantly less good. And a weird combo. I have the Dazed and Confused/Fast Times at Ridgemont High combo which is far more cohesive. Also, I have the Bueller, Bueller edition and the extra features are really good.
ReplyDeleteThe Dazed and Confused/Fast Times at Ridgemont High duo does make sense. And I love that they come from different decades and depict different decades and still exude the same emotions. I really didn't like Valley Girl when I first saw it, but it was a long time ago and I thought I would give it a second chance. Today I bought Better off Dead abd Charlie Bartlett, starring all the best Canadian actors (the cast of Degrassi).
ReplyDeleteyeah, duh. I had that movie tapped since it was at the tribeca film festival the year before it came out and then made danit see it with me opening weekend. Degrassi+big screen movie= my jam. And Better Off Dead is great.
